About Me

I’m Rosi and I live in Bulgaria. I’ve been sewing for more than 20 years, but I learned to make tapestries on my own, as a hobby that grew into a passion.

All those years with a needle and thread gave me a good start. Working it out by myself, I developed my own stitching technique, and it gives my tapestries their character.

The collection includes landscapes, portraits and religious scenes. The Pastoral watermill, inspired by François Boucher measures 72 × 55 cm; Jesus and the apostles beside the water is larger, at 87 × 52 cm. Old Plovdiv depicts a street of traditional houses in Bulgaria, where I live.

Several tapestry pages include photographs of the back as well as the front, so you can see the stitching behind the finished image. Open a tapestry’s page to see its photographs and the details recorded for that piece.
